Here you will find all important information
We are really happy that you decided to stay at our Narnia.

Narnia is what remains of an old forester’s lodge. Like any farm, there are many elements here where a child could potentially get hurt – for example, old farming machines near the barn. Please keep this in mind and be extra careful.

There are security cameras around Narnia – on the barn facing the entrance and the beach, on the stable facing the entrance and the tipi, and in the courtyard facing the entrance.

Please read the full rules here: https://www.narniaglamp.com/regulamin

Here are some important info and instructions for using Narnia’s facilities.

Trash – At Narnia, we sort waste into plastic, glass, metal, paper, organic waste, and general waste. When your bag is full, please take it to the bin located between the house entrance and the second apartment. Never leave the stable door open – birds can start building nests inside in just a few minutes. Due to wildlife, NEVER leave food scraps outside overnight

Water – Narnia uses a central water heater. To make sure everyone gets hot water, please use it sparingly.

Do NOT flush diapers, tampons, or cotton pads down the toilet – this can cause a serious problem! Throw these in the bins near the toilets.

Heating – The house is heated by a pellet stove with remote control. Each room has a knob on the radiator for temperature control, plus an electric heater. If it’s too hot or cold, just let us know and we’ll adjust the stove remotely.

Each guest gets assigned bedding and one towel. In the kitchen, there are shared hand towels and dishcloths. Bathrooms have extra small hand towels and hair dryers. We recommend bringing extra towels/kilts and robes for the sauna and hot tub. Sauna kilts can be rented for 10 PLN each – find them in the living room wardrobe.
Grill
There’s a grill on the terrace. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. You can also grill in the TIPI – there’s a grill grate over the fire pit and sticks for sausages. In an emergency, you can buy charcoal and lighter fluid from us (in the bike shed).

Projector – It has an Android system built-in. You can log into your Netflix account or install other apps. There’s an HDMI cable in the living room. To use the projector, remove the lens cover and turn it on with the remote.
All remotes are in a basket on the window.
Sauna
To turn on the sauna stove:
Press the thermometer button, set the temperature (80°C is optimal, the interior will be about 90°C), press the thermometer button again, then press the heating element button (this turns it on).
If it won’t start, press the thermometer button followed by the heating button. A red light means it’s working.
The stove shuts off automatically after 1 hour and 15 minutes. To extend, press the heating button again.
Turn on the lights with the bulb button on the controller or switches below it, each controls different lights.
The sauna stove uses a lot of electricity. Only turn it on when using the sauna. There’s an electricity meter. The rental price includes two hours of sauna use. Extra hours are charged per the rental rules.
Sauna rules
Use the sauna naked, no clothes or slippers.
No food or drinks in the sauna.
Never sit directly on the benches, always use towels under body parts.
Never use the sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Don’t touch the stove elements – they are very hot and can burn you.
Pouring too much water on the stove can damage the heating elements.
Use scents sparingly – a few drops per ladle of water.
After the sauna session, rinse off sweat with the outdoor shower or indoors, then use the cooling pool or wooden tub next to the sauna.
Minors may only use the sauna under adult supervision and full responsibility.
Jacuzzi
-
To reach a temperature of 39 degrees, the tub should be heated by burning in the stove for about 4 hours (5 hours in winter),
-
We only burn wood designed for this purpose (prepared).
-
Be careful with the metal elements of the stove because they are very hot and can cause burns.
-
Make sure that the plug in the jacuzzi is closed and fill the jacuzzi with water, the hole above the lamp must always be under water, optimally 5 cm. The tap opens on the side of the house on the beach side
-
Light the fire in the stove (only if the water is above the hole above the lamp inside the jacuzzi), the wood is in a foil house next to the jacuzzi
-
Every few minutes, turn on the hydromassage for 60 seconds, this will mix the water and heat the jacuzzi faster
-
While the water is heating, leave the thermal cover on the jacuzzi, the water will heat up faster.
-
Before using the bath, remove the Jacuzzi cover and place it on a wooden platform under the fence, lean the cover against the fence
-
When the water gets hot enough, stop adding water to the stove and reduce the air flow to the stove - by moving the lower plate to limit the air flow.
-
If the water is too hot, you can add cold water from a garden hose
-
After finishing your bath, turn off the hydromassage and light, and put the thermal cover on the Jacuzzi. Also remember to turn off the water on the side of the house.
-
We never use the tub under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, because this may pose a risk of drowning.
-
Minors may use the tub only under the supervision and full responsibility of guardians.
-
The portions of wood have been marked, using more wood than agreed is settled according to the price list in the rental regulations - below. An additional portion of wood is located in the greenhouse next door.
-
Remember, never leave the fire unattended.
-
the maximum number of people in the jacuzzi is 8, it is strictly forbidden to dance in the jacuzzi and to step on the thermal cover
-
the hydromassage should not be turned on for longer than 4 hours, after that time it should be turned off for 30 minutes
-
In case of freezing temperatures outside, the request for water exchange must be made in advance due to the water being shut off outside the building. The landlord is not obligated to carry out the water exchange service if the personnel required to perform it, especially during weekends, are not available.
